Great stay and location was awesome Positive: Yes, enough room and parking. Beds were comfortable and washer & dryer was awesome. Negative: The airport noise was loud but we were aware of it.

Perfect Place to stay Positive: We loved our stay at Casa Italia. It is literally at the beginning of Little Italy. Everything is within walking distance of the apartment, including a couple of grocery stores if you want some midnight snacks. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, which is very convenient, especially if you travel with a carry-on only. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need, including a wine opener!!!. There is an AC unit in each room, which is great. I also liked the bedside lamps. Makes the bedroom cozy. Everything was very clean and tidy, including towels and bedding. I liked that there was a shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and some earplugs:) for the airplanes ( the airport is 10 minutes away, which is convenient). I want to say that once the windows are closed, the noise from the airplanes is almost gone. So the apartment has great noise insulation. We all slept without earplugs. There is parking as well, and we recommend renting a car because there are so many great restaurants outside of Little Italy and lower prices if you want to stay longer in SD or visit other beaches. Now, about the owner, a little bit - the communication was very good and prompt. All the directions were very clear to follow. The owner also went above and beyond, providing information about San Diego and what to do, which was very nice. If I had any questions during our stay, the owner would respond quickly, which is rare. I am a frequent traveler, and those small details make a difference between just a place to sleep and a place I want to stay. Negative: Mattresses are a little too soft for comfort.

Somewhat able to tolerate the stay. Positive: Very central walking distance to some areas in San Diego. Negative: Unpleasant odor in house. Master bedroom very dirty rug, old dirty ceiling non working fan, very old nasty chester drawers need to be replaced. rusty old shower head need to be replaced. Need the front door stairs entrance to be more presentable by removing spider webs including on the front tree and stairs. The planes are incredibly low the noise is very loud unable to sleep.
